How do I add money?

Every account gets a dedicated account number at a partner bank. Transfer to it from any Nigerian bank and the money reaches your balance automatically, usually inside a minute.

Is the account number really mine?

Accepted Answer

Yes. It is issued in your name after identity verification, and it stays yours. It is not a shared collection account with a reference code to remember.

What happens if a payment fails?

If the operator rejects it or cannot deliver, the amount is returned to your balance automatically and the transaction is marked failed. You do not need to open a ticket to get it back.

Question 5

Do I get a token for prepaid electricity?

Yes. The token appears on the receipt as soon as the operator issues it, and it stays in your transaction history so you can find it again later.

What if I mistype a meter or decoder number?

Accepted Answer

Meter and decoder numbers are checked with the operator first and the registered name is shown back to you before you confirm. If the name is wrong, nothing has been paid yet.

Is there a fee to fund my balance?

Funding by bank transfer does not attract a charge from us. Your own bank may charge its standard transfer fee.
